A family of four in Downtown Manhattan is seeking an experienced Housekeeper for a long-term hybrid housekeeping/family assistant role. Responsibilities include housekeeping, laundry and light ironing, maintaining household organization, running occasional errands, and ensuring the home is always neat and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable stepping in as a backup nanny when needed, assisting with school drop-offs and pick-ups, playdates, and other child-related tasks if the nanny is unavailable. The family is looking for someone with previous housekeeping and childcare experience, excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the flexibility to commute to Long Island during the summer months. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering $45 per hour plus overtime and a health insurance stipend. Annual compensation $128,000.
